Control and modification possibility of all entries of the extended data set (time parameters, fabrication shape, reinforcement etc.) of an element

SettingDescription
El-No Number of the current element
SettingDescription
Type Element type  (see Structure > Elements > Info )
Length Element length (spring elements: user defined fictitious length)
Ndiv Element subdivision for result presentation in intermediate points
Switches
SettingDescription
Age Concrete age when the element is activated (days)
ts Concrete age when the shrinkage process starts
RH Average relative air humidity of the environment of the element (in %)
TMP Average ambient air temperature on site
RPR Stiffness ratio (As/Ac * Es/Ec)
  • As: Reinforcement area
  • Ac : Concrete area
  • Es: E-modulus of reinforcement
  • Ec: E-modulus of concrete
Alpha; Beta  Rayleigh-damping constants: [c] = alfa*[m] + beta*[k]
  • [c]: Damping matrix
  • [c]: Mass matrix
  • [c]: Stiffness matrix
Damping Modal damping ratio for assessment of the different natural modes in case of modal analysis with frequency-dependent damping. The global value Xsi defined in Recalc > Dynamics is taken if no element value is defined.
Fabrication shape
SettingDescription
Vx-beg(end) Displacement of the element begin or end in x direction
Vy-beg(end) Displacement of the element begin or end in y direction
Vz-beg(end Displacement of the element begin or end in z direction
Rx-beg(end) Rotation of the element begin or end around the x direction (in [rad])
Ry-beg(end) Rotation of the element begin or end around the y direction (in [rad])
Rz-beg(end) Rotation of the element begin or end around the z direction (in [rad])
Reinforcement
SettingDescription
Reinforcement group Selection of the group for displaying the values
Start  Code for the reinforcement amount at element begin
  • Fix: Reinforcement amount user defined (fix)
  • Var: Reinforcement amount is a calculation result (reinforcement design)
End Code for the reinforcement amount at element end
A1 User- defined reinforcement amount.
Control of proof checks
SettingDescription
Fibre Switch, whether any fiber stress check is done for this element or not
Ult Switch, whether any ultimate capacity check is done for this element or not
Shear Switch, whether any shear capacity check is done for this element or not
RCD Switch, whether any reinforcement design is done for this element or not
Crack Switch, whether any crack width check is done for this element or not
Robust Switch, whether any robustness check is done for this element or not
Fatig Switch, whether any fatigue check is done for this element or not
NLMat Switch, whether any non-linear material properties are considered for this element or not (when Non-linear material has been selected in the Recalc pad)
FEM Switch, whether any specified FEM definitions are considered for this  element or not.
b-beg Total web-width reduction for the shear capacity check at element begin (reduction due to ducts of prestressing tendons in the web). Only required if tendons are  grouped together, automatic reduction is performed if all tendons are individually defined.
b-end Total web-width reduction for the shear capacity check at element end.  In case of multiple webs, aliquot parts of b-beg and b-end will be subtracted from the  total widths of the individual webs.
Class  Defining tensile behavior of parts of composite elements
  • Normal: Partial element can carry tensile forces
  • No-tension: Partial element cannot carry tensile forces
